INDIGENOUS CONFERENCES 100% Proudly presented, formulated, designed and organised By First Nations Peoples
Industry Approved COVID-Safe Plan
In light of COVID-19, we’re now committed more than ever and have since introduced a COVID-Safe action plan to re-define our cleaning and safety standards, in addition to our already extensive processes, to take care of what matters most - our guests and our team members. ICS Australia worked tirelessly with our chosen conference venue to follow the Australian Government COVID-19 Safety guidelines for meetings and conferences under the industry-approved COVID Safe Plan.
PUBLIC SPACES
Public spaces and high-traffic areas including lobby, accommodation wings, dining venues, door handles, railings, elevators and pool gates at our conference venue are experiencing increased frequency of surface cleaning and sanitisation, above and beyond the normal protocols. Signage in public spaces will remind our guests to maintain social distancing and we have introduced a Sanitisation Policy & Procedure around concierge luggage handling, guest interaction at reception and in-house equipment hire.
GUESTS Rooms
The already rigorous cleaning protocols will be supplemented by elevated disinfecting and cleaning of all high-touch surfaces.
Social Distancing
The conference venue will be introducing floor decal distance indicators at queue points for Concierge, Reception and Delegate Meet & Greet areas to guide social distancing. When dining, the team will seat by pre-booking where possible and ensuring distancing between tables to align with government guidelines. Switching to laminated menus will allow team members to disinfect and clean between guest use.
IN-HOUSE DINING
Dining venues are open and operating to a limited capacity under an industry approved COVID Safe Plan.
Staff Wellbeing
Management will be checking in with all team members to ensure they are healthy and fit for work as well as delivering a Return To Work COVID-Safe training program. Back of house areas will also see increased cleaning and disinfecting across locker rooms, elevators, preparation areas and offices to maintain a safe team environment.
Resort Facilities & Services
In line with government restrictions, access to some of the resort facilities and services are still limited. The in-house Beauty & Massage Salon and Kids Club are open for bookings and services.
Behind the Scenes
COVID-Safe records will be maintained in-house where the hotel will collate daily COVID-Safe checklists completed by departmental Managers and Supervisors, compliant with government guidance.
Our COVID-Safe Plan will actively be monitored and we are committed to adjusting and expanding our initiatives to ensure a continued focus on the health and safety of our guests and team members.
